End of March Update
Time Flies
Hey everyone, so it's now the end of March. A lot of things have changed and I thought I'd share what's been happening with the project lately. I know I haven't done the best at keeping this Itch.io page up to date, but better a monthly update later than never. This month was dedicated to testing and getting the game into a playable state. I've brought the loading time for the Freeroam down quite a bit and fixed several bugs. As of now, I feel that the game is in a solid, playable state. I'm now working on getting the last of the character art complete and testing every last possibility. Until this is complete, I'll continue to add some extra features. We should be ready for release in a month or two. Here's this month at a glance:
Complete
- Freeroam separated into pieces for faster loading and optimization
- Fixed numerous dialogue typos and bugs including the infamous "Nornmal"(see here for more details)
- Gloria shocked emotion art, Taylor normal art
- Various improvements such as adding a background for when item unlocks are shown and improving the button theme to look less flat
Coming Soon
- All character art complete(Only Taylor and Gloria outstanding)
- All school day question sets and endings tested
- More nice-to-have features like a limit on sprinting, better dialogue and menu tip randomization and more
