General Progress

Hello everybody. So, January has now come and gone in the blink of an eye. We are now only 3 months away from having this game ready for launch! This past month has been spent working on the Freeroam and it's almost complete! There's only one more building and some NPCs that I want to add to the Freeroam before it's all the way done. I'm planning to complete this early in February and then start some other tweaks to the game to get it ready for the final stretch. I'm a little worried about how long some of the art is taking, but if that is the only thing that goes a little longer then we should still be ok and hopefully that wouldn't push the release date back too far. But, this is a lot of words so let's show you what's happened this past month at a glance.

Completed This Month

-Added a race track to Freeroam

-Added flowers to fields, lore letters to find, more interactables scattered throughout to Freeroam

-finished Music Store music and Library with books for Freeroam

-finished cafe with tables, chairs and side quests in Freeroam

-Added statue of the towns founder to Freeroam

-Ella normal and happy art for visual novel

-Gloria angry art visual novel

Planned For February

-add Therapist's to Freeroam

-add some more NPCs to Freeroam

-complete a dialogue expansion for visual novel(more than one dialogue per emotion per character)

-spell check the dialogues in the game(English is my native language, I never said I was good at it!)

-touch up some of the art to be more pixel-style and so on

Ending Note

This will be my first real published project and I'm very excited. I'm not sure exactly what the last few steps on the road will look like, but I know they shall be walked. Thanks to everyone for their support thus far and I can't wait to have more to show you.
